Dr. Hayes

Dr. Colleen Hayes is a licensed naturopathic physician in Washington state. She received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Missouri-Columbia, and went on to earn her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University in Seattle, Washington.

As a primary care physician, Dr. Hayes is equipped to see patients of all ages for both acute and chronic conditions. She is particularly adept at uncovering the root causes of disease, which helps her achieve success in treating autoimmune disorders, hormone imbalances, digestive issues, chronic infections, mood and sleep disorders, among many more. A typical visit explores your nutritional status, toxic exposures, genetic predispositions, and emotional well being, in the context of your current state of health.

Dr. Hayes has advanced training in botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, orthomolecular medicine, craniosacral therapy, and hydrotherapy. She specializes in intravenous nutrient therapy, a profound tool that expedites the healing process.

Before medical school, Dr. Hayes spent several years working in Mexico, an experience that initiated a deep appreciation for the importance of providing culturally competent healthcare. Her passion to promote naturopathic medicine has led her on various trips to Nicaragua, Haiti, and Guatemala, where she served as a clinical volunteer for such organizations as Natural Doctors International, Naturopaths Without Borders, and Naturopathic Medicine for Global Health. She is a firm believer in quality healthcare for all, and through naturopathic medicine, she knows that a higher state of health is always possible.
